Consistently Enough

Rev 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Just like the seasons, things in my life seem to come on strong and leave in the blink of an eye. The latest fitness craze is usually the ‘season’ that I am in. The last three years I have been ALL-IN on the following things: CrossFit, Olympic lifting, running, Pilates, yoga, Cross Training, strictly cardio, only eating organically and taking 20+/- vitamins a day,  literally doing nothing fitness or nutrition wise, realizing I need to start again. Then repeat. Then repeat again. I feel like my life, in almost all areas, has been characterized by cycles such as this. I am all-in and one day, just as quickly as it started, I am all out. Hot then cold. Not purposely do I do this, it just kind of happens. When someone asks me about a hobby of mine, up until about a week ago I would say “Yes I really like ‘such-and-such’ but you know me, I am such an all or none person!” and I meant it. I know our words have power but this was one of those things that I didn’t even realize I said… much less that I said it a lot. So, my life followed my words and for months I was all-in with God and then like the flip of a light switch, I stopped. For no reason, just stopped. Read more…

Asking, Believing, Receiving, Oh My!

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Ask. Believe. Receive.
Can it really be that easy? I am here today to tell you, YES! I am a firm believer that our God wants us to have everything in this life that is good and we are here as His ambassadors! (2 Corinthians 5:20) What are you needing today? Do you need financial breakthrough or a repaired relationship? God is not just in the business of fixing our small problems, we can move mountains through Him. You can ask for something that seems impossible, stand on the belief that what you are asking for will happen.

Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

Whatever it is that you need today, ask already! “Father I am so confused about what to after I finish college. I know the plans that I have and they seem like good ones…but they just don’t line up with the plans that you have placed on my heart. I don’t know how to make those plans happen God but I know you can make them happen for me. In Jesus name I ask that the plans for my future start to reveal themselves to me and start happening. I trust that Your plans for me are better than my own. Father I believe that they will soon revel themselves and I am ready to receive them. I am so thankful for your infinite love for me and all other people and your son Jesus Christ.” -Now today, this was mine. Nothing that you could ever ask is too big for God! Don’t underestimate Him.

Matthew 21:22  And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
Now Stand on it! Believe in it! You have seen what I asked God today but I can assure you that I will not negate this with my words. We have a tendency to ask for something and in a second, we revert back to our old way of thinking and start negating what we just asked for. If you are asking and expectant to receive a financial breakthrough, do not go around sulking and saying “Oh I don’t have any money. What am I going to do? I guess I will just be poor for the rest of my life. I will never get that new car because I’ll never have the money to get it.” (Remember, your words do have power.) Start declaring that you are already debt free and endless money is headed your way! You asked God in Jesus’ name for it and to receive it, you gotta believe it!! Change your thought life today.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
It may take a second, a day, a month or a year but I can assure you that if you ask for something and believe in it you will receive it. God has His own timetable so just because you may not receive instantaneously does not mean you will never receive it. Be patient and diligent and stay thankful that what you have asked for has already been given to you! You will receive it when it is time for you to have it. Stand on the promises He has made us and be joyful in the inheritance that we have been given through Jesus.

John 14:13-14 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 16:23-24 “And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. 24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

His word is truth. We are so Greatly Blessed, Highly Favored, and Deeply Loved.
