Our Walk with God in Blog Form

Salvation Is

You are the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD in CHRIST JESUS❤️

Salvation (Hebrew; yeshu’ah) is being saved or protected from harm or being saved or delivered from some dire situation

Sin and the Need for a Savior

When God created man and woman, He created them in His perfect image. With their own free will, Adam and Eve defied God and broke the only rule they were given and ever since, sin has ruled the Earth.

Each and every one of the people on this planet was formed (by God) in their mother’s womb and created in the image of our perfect Father. Though we try to be good and try to please God, ourselves, and others, we fall short each day. In the Old Testament of the Bible there are innumerable stories of the children of God inhabiting the Earth and messing up each day and facing the wrath of God. The thing with humans is that we have our own free will and though we were made in God’s perfect image, we are not perfect. God realized that we were in trouble and we needing a saving grace, a Savior. Cue, Jesus—Son of God. Jesus made no mistake during his years on Earth yet at just 33 years old was rejected, ridiculed and nailed to a cross for all to see. It still humbles me each time I read about Jesus on that cross, feeling all the pain and suffering for all the sins of all the people of the world—died, alive and those who were not born yet. But still, he cries out to the Father, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Luke 22:34

Though he did not deserve to die, Jesus did. Willingly. He paid the price for every sin of every person on Earth past, present and future. At the cross all of our failures and sins, sicknesses and diseases are laying while we are FREE to walk in Jesus’ righteousness and HIS inheritance. The payment has been made and now it is up to us to receive the blessings that we will never earn and don’t deserve, but which were given to us freely.

Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life

Living by Grace

2 Timothy 2:9  who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began

Titus 3:5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit

Simply put, our salvation is based not upon what we have done, but what God has already done on our behalf. Salvation, eternal life and abundance and wholeness here on Earth are all gifts given to us freely from the Father through the Savior.

Stake a claim in your Salvation

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved

If you are ready and have not already accepted these gifts, I encourage you to say this prayer aloud: Father God, I acknowledge that YOU ARE. (Exodus 3:4) You sent Your son Jesus to live on this Earth, to be our sacrifice, to shed his blood, to be beaten, pierced in his side and die on the cross, to be bruised and three days later to rise again, triumphing over all principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, Satan, sickness, diseases, all handwritten requirements that are contrary to us, all sin and death. JESUS is seated at the right hand of you, our Father. Jesus finished it. I confess that I am a sinner and I need you Jesus, the blood that you shed and the sacrifice you gave so that I can come into right standing with you, into blood covenant relationship with the creator of the universe, Jesus, I declare you are the Lord of my life and I accept and believe in all that you did. Thank you that my sins are forgiven and you remember them no more, for dying in my place and I am now a child of the creator of the universe and I am heir to all of the free gift of salvation. I enter God’s rest, His salvation. Thank you Father that I now walk in total health and healing, I am whole. I have power over the enemy, authority over Satan and all principalities and powers because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and his shed blood. I will overcome all that is set against me by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and the word of my testimony (what I speak out) Rev 12:11. I speak life – Jesus and the Kingdom of God way into my life. I declare you Jesus are my Lord and Savior. Holy Spirit, you are welcome in my life. In Jesus’ name I declare this!
Praise and thank the living God –I AM- the Lord Jesus Christ for loving you so much that while you were still in your sin, He gave YOU a way out

I am saved, now what?

To start with, go read and soak in Ephesians 2 and 6, Isaiah 53, and Psalm 91. Get the word (what God says about you) deeply rooted in you and speak out what the word of God says. The word of God is life, is truth, is everything. Do not question the word but boldly speak out everything God says you are and declare all that He says is yours because of Jesus Christ. Claim it all and step into what Jesus has already provided! I encourage you to listen for the prompting and guidance of the Holy Spirit. I invite you to sit quietly before your Maker. Trust that God never leaves nor forsakes you. Trust that His spirit will guide you into ALL truth. Praise the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Drop your baggage at the cross

Whether you are newly saved or are already saved, it is time to stop carrying around all the baggage you have accumulated and leave it at the cross. It is time to realize that you no longer have to carry around your image of you. All of your baggage—your spiritual, physical and emotional burdens can be left where you are standing or sitting right now and never be picked up again, but YOU have to make that choice.
Holy Spirit, I ask in the name of Jesus that you reveal to each person all the baggage and the burdens they carry around are no longer needed. Show them their thoughts, ways, words and actions are nothing but that of death and destruction and reveal Your Son Jesus and all that HE IS to them and who and what they are because of Him. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
YOU have authority because you are in blood covenant with the creator of the universe. Jesus’ blood, the word and your spoken words are what will propel you in a certain direction, whether into life or death.Take the time to write down what you are leaving behind, what you are releasing, what you are choosing to no longer need and carry. These things can be fears, sicknesses, diseases, unforgiveness, hate, envy strife, habits, addictions, words you have spoken, words others have spoken about you and to you, generational curses and bondages, things you don’t even realize that you are carrying, any and all thoughts that do not line up with the word of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal these things and don’t be surprised with what comes up.
Speak aloud today “I choose today to give it all up.” Name each thing specifically, unpack each bag, drop each piece of luggage and place it at the cross where it belongs, in the name of Jesus. Leave it there and declare “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!” you can say this all the time because you are!! Then step into who God says you are, the image He created you to be and do the good works he has prepared in advance for you. SPEAK AND DECLARE God’s truth no matter what you see, think or feel. Do not let what others say undermine who God says you are and what is rightfully yours because of Jesus. Don’t add your own IFS, ANDS, or BUTs!

2 Corinthians 6:2 For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.
