Fearless Doers of The Word

James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

I have been stuck on James 1:22 for a week because it is so powerful to me. I know that we all have the ability to hear from God and I know that many of you reading this, do hear from God. So what sets us apart from the people who you can just look at and see God working in? From the people who are constantly and obviously stepping out in faith?
They are fearless doers of the word.

In James 1:25 it goes on to say “But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.” This all boils down to being God’s ‘Yes’ Girl, being obedient when you hear His voice or feel a prompting from the Holy Spirit that dwells in you. The men and women in the Bible were not equipped to deal with the things they dealt with because of their strength or their might, they were equipped with supernatural strength from God. God does not only choose the equipped, he equips the chosen.
Matthew 20:16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.
I read a blog recently entitled, God will give you more than you can handle: I guarantee it and the main point of the blog is that there are many things in this life that are absolutely more than we can handle alone, reminding us that we need God. This is true in being a ‘doer’ of the word because when you are a doer of the word, sometimes God might call you to do things that are seen as simple and sometimes He may put something on your heart and call you to do things that seem impossible. Well guess what? Trying to do them without God leading and guiding you, making the crooked paths straight would be impossible. Being a doer of the word calls you to jump off the cliff and fully trust that God will allow you to land safely. Being a doer of the word is trusting in all that God is and all that word says He is.

James 2:22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Do you not see that hearing without action means nothing? Start walking the path the God has chosen you to walk and start acting on the Kingdom works which you are called to do. Stop letting fear, worry, and anxiety rule you because God will equip you. God has equipped you! Start running your race of faith today and never look back. Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Be a fearless doer of the word today!

His word is truth (John 17:17) We are so Greatly Blessed, Highly Favored, and Deeply Loved.

AMEN!!!!! What a POWERFUL word!!!!

Come my sons and daughters. Hold my hand. You do not need to worry and fret over the things of this world. I am all great and all powerful and nothing can harm my children! I have basked you with my Light and my Glory. I have given you all of the tools you need! I have shielded you with my Love and Grace. The only thing that hinders my people is the hesitation of the heart. You must believe to achieve! You must reach over the ledge beyond your line of sight and grab hold of what you cannot see. You must trust that I will pull you up and over any obstacles. By me you can climb the highest mountain. By me you can reach the top! Judge not the hesitation of your neighbor and fellow man, instead send out words which will encourage. Focus not on the steps that your neighbor has, but focus on your own path. Reaching the top is not a competition, there will be no winner. For with my hands I can hold the hand of every person who reaches for it. Cry not for the weak and weary but lead by example. Envy not the person above you for there is not a single prize, but a prize for each and every one. Come to me my sons and daughters, hold my hand.

Keys to Grace

God has given us the power to use the keys and tools to find Grace and Peace in our lives. We just have to be willing to take those keys and put them into action! We must be diligent and ever seeking of His Grace! By doing this we are leading by example! I know I want to show people how HAPPY and JOYFUL it is to walk in His Grace. To be a light in this dark world, that I will inspire others to do the same and inspire others to seek His Grace, Love and SALVATION. It does not take shoving my beliefs down a persons throat. It simply is living the way that the Lord has told us to live so that others may see and they will want what we have! To be a leader by example, as Jesus was. Leading takes action, and we need the keys of Grace to take those actions!

Psalm 146:6-7           God, who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever; who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD frees the prisoners.

We, as humans, were prisoners. Prisoners to our sins. But God has freed us from the prisons! So many of us are stuck in our cells and do not even notice that the chains have been lifted and the doors unlocked. We are too busy staring at the walls, worrying, and fretting to just look up for a moment and realize that we are free! We can go and we can live our lives and be bountiful and truly happy. God has given us the POWER!

No, we are not perfect and do not really deserve to walk alongside the Lord, but he loves us and has given us the permission to do so! And God does provide everything we need to live our lives to the fullest. It is all about TRUST and FAITH! There will be difficult times, but as they say “Let Go and Let God”.

  •  Have faith and trust in the Lord that he will provide what you need (and even what you want) IN HIS TIME!
  •  Have patience, let go and let God do the work – this does not mean to sit around waiting for something to fall in your lap. But continue to persevere and soon the perfect opportunity or object will present itself and you will wonder why you had ‘wasted’ time pursuing other routes.
  •  LOVE, let go of your frustrations and your anger. Anger clouds the sights and makes it difficult or impossible for us to see what we need to see.
  •  Don’t return to your prison cell and be held up by the binds and chains that you put on yourself.
